Garrett Lebeau
Client Garrett Lebeau hired me to create full visual identity for his upcoming album release. He had never had any professional branding or photography work done so it was often necessary to talk him through each step to help him understand the rationale behind our creative strategy. He has a very interesting life story and so the challenge was to capture his unique personality and history through branding and visual development. He is half Shoshone and grew up on the Wind River reservation in Wyoming. Now being based in Austin, Texas, we found it difficult to find a landscape that spoke to his native roots so we ended up doing the majority of his photography in West Texas which more closely resembles the landscape he knew and loved as a child on the reservation and we believe it conveys a spiritual essence we could not replicate artificially in other locales.
I did full scope artist development, creative direction, branding, photography, video, graphic design, and behind the scenes photos and videos.
